The world’s largest process engineering show is taking place in Frankfurt am Main from the 15th to the 19th of June. There will be a large number of exhibitors of process plant, equipment and instrumentation for powdery products.

Ahead of the exhibition, the Achema organization has produced a number of trend reports including “The Character is Key – Challenges for Bulk Solids Technology”. All trend reports can be found on the Achema website.
A number of exhibitors have also announced their presence with new products. The MG2 company will show a capsule filling machine, a disk mill for wet and dry ultrafine milling of up to 3 tons/h will be presented by Fuchs Maschinen, and AZO will show their range of automatic powder feeding systems.
At last Achema in 2012, there were 3773 exhibitors. Half of them came from Germany. At this year’s show, foreign exhibitors are expected to out-number the domestic ones. As a response to increasing demand, Pharmaceutical, Packaging and Storage Techniques have been given extra space.
Parallel to the exhibition, there will be a conference program including the International Powder and Nanotechnology Forum on 16 – 17 June with sessions on crystallization, powder technology, nano-bio technology and microreactor, and pharmaceutical technology. The conference program can be found on the Achema website.
